Four days after we got our first 3 chicks, Lady Gaga the Amerecauna died.  She was not healthy from the get go and we were hoping she would pull through, but for some reason we were never able to get her to eat.  So today we picked up the last two chicks, with a flock now totaling 6 hens.  We received Lucille, a Golden Laced Wyandotte and Lady Gaga, the encore, our Amerecauna.  I'd say our chicken days are off to a pretty good start with some pretty great girls...at least we hope they're all girls:)
